A Dog In Need of Some Help ... A Home

I received this note in my email from someone who needs a home for a pet. I don't know this girl ... but I hate to see a dog lose it's life. So if anyone out there knows someone ... please contact April .... aprilprevost@gmail.com


My cousin out in IL just sent me this message this morning. I can help take the dog for temporary to keep her from having to be put down but really don't have the room (or energy or time) for another puppy.

Here is what happened:

*I was wondering if you would know of anyone who might be interested in a Labradoodle. My parents have a neighbor that is threatening police action against them if they don't get rid of their dog. A few months ago, Shelby got out of her yard and when the girl starting running and screaming Shelby knocked her over. If the kid would have kept quiet and stood still nothing would have happened! My dad has been researching online to try to find her a new home but so far no luck. They have an appointment to put her down on Wednesday. I didn't know if you'd have any ideas with all your animal contacts? She is 5 years old and fixed. She is scared of other dogs but given time I think she'd adapt and actually love company! She prefers
strong men. Although she's fine with my kids, it's probably best that she isn't around young ones.

Any suggestions that you might have would be greatly appreciated, I'd take her if I could but we already have a houseful!
