- Are you involved in Animal Rescue, if so please tell us about your organization?
- German Shepherd Rescue of America provides care; rehabilitation, and placement thorugh veterinary care, quality temporary foster homes, shelter rescue and ultimately placement in a caring home. It is our mission to:(1) Encourage and promote responsible animal ownership and reduce the abuse and neglect of unwanted animals through rehabilitation and placement. (2) Promote the humane treatment of animals and accept for placement unwanted animals, care for those animals medically, sterilize those animals as necessary, and place those animals by transferring title to a new owner. (3) Provide educational services to interested public regarding responsible care, control and ownership of animals. (4) Educate animal owners about training, sterilization (spay/neuter), and the humane care for their animals and to promote good (canine/feline/animal) citizenship. (5) Facilitate the placement of unwanted animals with new owners.

This rescue is well known and respected.

This second one keep changing names. First it was Westside German Shepherd Rescue, then Eastside German Shepherd Rescue and now it is just German Shepherd Rescue. There doesn't seem to be any board members listed and with all the name changes in the past few days, it seems like a scam.
If I am the only one that has concerns about this rescue, then so be it. But I did find a court filing in L.A. for Intellectual Property - Trademark Infringement.
Plaintiff: Westside Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles, Inc.
Defendant: Gregory J. Pollock and Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles, Inc.
