About Sugar:

Sugar has been successfully acting in Los Angeles on television since 1999 and is set to appear in the 2008 spring feature film "Sex and Death 101".

Sugar got her nick-name working at a 50's Diner in San Francisco when she was 18 years old. Pictured in this month's photo is Sugar's lovable pup, Major P. Pants. Sugar recently relocated to New York for a change of pace with Major P. Pants.

On May 4, 2008, The Paw'd Squad Animal Rescue is hosting their third annual Bowling for Collars, a fun-filled fundraiser to help find a collar- and a home - for every pet in Southern California. Over 200 supporters of The Paw'd Squad, including the lovely ladies of Pinups for Pups, will gather for an afternoon of bowling at the Mar Vista Lanes in Los Angeles.

We'd love to have you involved as well, as a Bowling for Collars Sponsor!

The Paw'd Squad saves hundreds of pets each year - from death row at Los Angeles' city shelters, a life on the streets, and situations of abuse and neglect. We take these animals into our network of foster homes, give them the love, training, and medical attention they need to become wonderful family pets and find them new forever homes. Help us help them by making a generous donation to Bowling for Collars! If you can help sponsor this event in anyway, please let us know ASAP. Thanks!

Rescue Dog of the Month!

Mojito

Mojito was another street urchin who was scooped up off the street by a Paw'd Squad volunteer. Without a tag, collar or microchip, we invited him to join the Squad and he gladly accepted. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with dogs of all sizes.

Mojito is a very smart, obedient boy and knows several tricks. When it's time to calm down, he will quietly relax in his crate. Mojito would like to find a home with another dog. And if anyone is interested in training and agility dog....this is the boy for you! He would take home medals! Sweet and loving, Mojito is waiting patiently for his forever home.
